Starting Items With Tagged Skills.
The title says it all. Think about it, the start of this game would be really hard, especially competing with other survivors to find loot and all. I'm not talking about starting with anything big, maybe a heavily damaged mauser and 1 clip for small guns.
The game needs this because the start missions would definately fail very early. A few 30 hp bluesuits running around fighting hordes of zombies?
The items could be a bit like this:
| Tagged Skill | Starting Item |
Small Guns: Mauser with 1 clip
Big Guns: Not Sure Yet
Energy Weapons: Laser Pistol no ammo
Unarmed: Nothing
Melee: Simple Knife
Throwing: 2 Molotovs/Frags or Throwing Knife
First Aid: 5 Healing Powders or A couple stimpacks
Doctor: Doctors Bag
Lock Pick: Lockpick set
Repair: Tool
Science: Not Sure Yet
Sneak: Leather Jacket
Barter: Not sure yet
Gambling: Not sure Yet
Outdoorsman: Leather Jacket
Speech: Not sure Yet.
Some of them might be a bit too over powered, but thats just a general Idea.

No, I don't think we will see this. Simply because of weapons' rarity that I described in the last news. Having a weapon should remain something great, and it won't be like that if you're given one at the very beginning - which is also a good way to introduce exploits in SD Also, the horror dimension of the game would be reduced if you started with a weapon.

But keep in mind that your priority will be to survive, not to kill. Dont hope to have the capacity to be aggressiv during your first days.

But isn't it game over when too many zombies spawn?
