well, since there will be no world map, how about we make a food sistem like in Wasteland Merk 2 F2 mod
i mean the gravedigers must survive in some way, and why not with wather and food, we can make some recipes depending on the ODM skill

Indeed. It's too early and this is one of the hardest thing possible to implement/balance inside a server. I'm not sure we need this, at least for now. It's survival-horror, surviving is hard because of horrific creatures, not because of horrible stomach-aches
