Exp and ranks.
I think it would be good if you´ll make rank like on FO:Tactics
Example : Level 1-Rookie
Level 2-Fresh Surviver
Level 3-Member
Level 4-Head crusher
Level 5-Zombieman
Level 6-Corporal
Level 7-Skilled Killer
Level 8-Sergeant
Level 9-Captain
Level 10-....
To level 21.
Its really hard to "craft" new names.
But lets back to topic : Every level you gain you´ll have opened new things(not perks) for example at 12 or 15 level you will have access to buy your own room.

I don't understand - isn't the point of new levels to give you new abilities? When you level up, you earn skill points and perks, I do think that's enough Moreover, to be honest we already lack such advantages to give to players. If you had - as you said as an example - the possibility to buy your own room, we would link it to a non-combat skill, to make it useful, for example Speech. The combat skills are by far the most used in SD, and if we have some extra-features, we'll tie them to non-combat skills so that players maybe want to tag them
